Pooch Pass

Earlier this week, we got our Pooch Pass - the town has a great dog park and my
neighbor clued me in to it.  So, we had to go check out - and we were really
impressed!  Little doggies on one side (behind the fence just beyond the
pool here); big doggies on the other.  We were the only ones
there when we arrived, but not for long....

Our new friend Chloe

Finn doesn't want to she her pool...

Hanging out in the shade - just beyond this area here is a training course!

Beach area for the peeps and the park continues through those woods there.

Chaos at the watering hole...this is where most of the action
was today since it's hitting 90.

What a great time - and it was the first real chance for Finn to socialize with more than one dog at a time, and to see what she'd do if we let her off the leash.  "Beach Day" is in two weeks, and we can't wait to see what that's all about!

  3. Hi Finn, that looks like a great park, how cool that you have parks just for you dogs. We are a bit choosy who we play with, Louis normally plays by chasing dogs barking at their heels and they don't like it - I'm sure you wouldn't mind, our Mom calls him a little (rude word) when he does it and says he's an embarassment - he says he's just misunderstood! Well done you Finn for being so sociable, Dex & Lou x

  5. hey Finn,

What a pawsome park! It looks like so much fun! And it is so big! Thanks for your great photos; it almost felt as if I were there having fun with you! Very funny that you did not want to share your pool, but I see your new friend found a way to cool off in it regardless. :->

Hope you meet lots more new friends!

  6. What a NICE park!!! I am so jealous. We have yet to have a REAL dog park in Malaysia. Well actually there is one that has just opened but too bad, only residents' dogs are allowed to use it. Nice to see you had a fun time over there! OH have fun at the beach! It's going to be sooooo awesome. I have been to beach more than once & it is soooooo FUN!

Just be prepared that you might get a "limber tail" after playing in the water for long hours. It happens especially to Retrievers & pretty much any dogs that love to play in water & do not get dried off immediately. The tail may look broken/dead but it isn't. It's just muscle ache & it will hurt a little but it will go back to normal within a few hours to a few days. Anyhoo, have a great time & do takes tons of pictures!
