Now, I'm not one for cooking. I honestly can't believe that I searched for, found, shopped for and baked a birthday cake for my Finn. But, it was so unbelievably easy and she loved it. I mean LOVED it. After we gave her a piece, she climbed back on top of the stove to eat the rest out of the pan.
Here it is...Doggie Birthday Cake
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup shredded carrots
1 egg
Mix flour and baking soda together. Separately mix the honey, peanut butter, carrots and egg and then combine with the dry ingredients. Pour into a round 8 inch pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
I am gonna make my mom write this down and bake one fur ME. THANKS it sounds delicious.

ReplyDeleteSounds so yummy for us, Finn. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm. Poor me....I"ll never get something like that. anything I get has to be store bought. But it is a blessing, really. My Vickie needs to NOT go into the kitchen.....Even to get drinks out of the fridge. It is just not safe.
