Dog Park Doins'

Our dog park separates the dogs by size, so doggies under 30 pounds are separate from those over 30 pounds.  Genius idea!  Until there is only one doggie on one side...

who whines and whines until the doggies on the other side come over and play...

and chase each other back and forth up and down the fence.

This is Heidi...

She turned one today!  There she is giving Dodger a run for his money.

C'mon Finn, catch up!

And here's Marmaduke.  He's a no nonsense type of dog.

Here's our new friend, Durga.  She's visiting down from Buffalo this week.

Just some pics of what we've been up to this weekend!

Thank you to everyone for your kind words about my new job.  Once I am settled, I will be sharing some more about that.

How are you all doing out there?

  2. Hey Finn!
Wow, what a fun place! Much better than the puppy slammer. Looks like everyone gets along great and does a lot of zoomies. Great pix! I'm doing fine here, now that my peeps are back and life is somewhat back to normal. I still haven't been given my pressies yet! Pthtththth.

  4. Looks like a grand time at your doggie park. Does yours stay open year round? Ours closes for the wet winter months. I haven't taken Stewie to one as I think he would be overwhelmed and scared. He likes to meet and sniff on walkies. Tucker I think is too young but maybe when the park reopens I will take him.

This weekend is all about decorating the home sweet home!

  6. Hey Finn! That looks like an amazing dog park. That's cool that they separate the dogs by size - I tend to avoid dog parks because I am always "the little guy".

  7. What a great idea to separate the dogs by size. And you guys look to be having SO MUCH fun playing together (except the poor little chap on the other side of the fence).

  9. Finn dog parks must be so much fun. We don't have any where I live. Sometimes a neighbors dog comes over for a visit (he escapes his yard) and there are two dogs that live next door to me and we does the fence thing. They are small rat terriers.~Fenris

  12. Hi Finn, thanks for stopping by our blog, and nice to meet you. We don't get to go to a dog park, but with four of us, we think our yard is our own private dog park:)

Your Mom must be good at her work, she is very fortunate to find another job so quickly - congrats.

  13. hey Finn,

I love looking at pics of your dog park. It brings back memories of mine in Minneapolis. I don't have one here. You have great looking friends! Such beauties, just like you! Poor little wee pup all alone! But you big dogs are cool to run the fence with the lone little one. :->

Congratulations to your mom! That is pawsome she found work so quickly! Sorry you are alone during the day now, though. But just think, a new job means more money for yummy treats!

I would be placed on the side with smaller dogs because I'm pretty shy.

  20. Howdy Finn, looks like a fun place for all. You have friends all shapes and sizes. If we went there me and Rory would have to be separated and we wouldn't like that at all. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
