Hewwow! Finn here. *he* *he* *he*
Here's a little something new I have been doing. Drives the peeps nuts!
I bring back offerings to them when we go on our walks.
Yep, I pick up a stick and carry it back in my mouth for a good two blocks or so!
Why won't they let me bring them inside?!?
PS - Can you see me at the door on the inside looking at my gifts?!?
Maybe you have a toy deficit like I do Finn. BOL!
ReplyDeleteWaggin at ya,
Roo
ah finn you poor thing how mean of them to not let you bring your sticks inside. i think they might be that strange kind of person that actually likes to have a nice clean house rather than like me and stormys which is covered from top to bottom with bits of chewed up sticks and old ripped up loo roll. way more fun LOL!!! xxx
ReplyDeleteI biggified that picture and those look like perfectly fine gifts to me. I can't imagine why they don't allow those inside. Maybe you can sneak them in later.
ReplyDeletepawhugs, Max
It is very considerate of you to bring back gifties. :)
ReplyDeletethe brown dawgs
I know what Max meant when he BIGGIFIED the picture. LOL. I even had to wear glasses to see it.
ReplyDeleteHuggies and Cheese,
Haopee
My guys both did that as pups, but now seem to have given up the hobby.....
ReplyDeleteI've only just found the joy of sticks, but am carrying them back to the house closer and closer each day - your doing well Finn my chap - as your as far as the door, a few inches here, a few inches there, before you know it you will have fine stick furniture creations inside your home before anyone even notices!
ReplyDeleteHey Finn!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're such a sweet girl to bring pressies home with you! Lovely sticks too. I periodically bring my peeps a dead chipmunk that needed bashed...they don't properly appreciate that either! Boooooo. We all know you did a great job!
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
I like your stockpile, Finn ;)
ReplyDeleteStewey
Humans are mean. Mommy doesn't let us bring in sticks either.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think if you carry those sticks all the way home you should get to bring them in the house to play with, Finn! But rules is rules so I guess you'll just have to keep your stash outside to look at!
ReplyDeleteThey make you leave your gifts outside? How mean!
ReplyDeleteOh Finn, I think you can sneak one stick inside.:) They make the best toys.:)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
Dad doesn't let us pick up sticks on our walks. It is a shame you can't work on them in the house.
ReplyDeleteSticks are so fun though! Keep up the mischief Finn
ReplyDeleteYou have to leave your sticks outside? That's a shame after you have carried them all that way Finn. Ours have to stay out too!lol
ReplyDeleteBig Nose Pokes
The Thugletsx
I can tell you that ERNIE does the SAME thingy. EXCEPT he has a tiny twist on it.. He ALSO wants to take our toys and stuffs OUTSIDE.
ReplyDeleteYou should see the stash of Outside Treasures that he has on the Deck... and mom will NOT allow him to bring a single one inside..
I (Frankie Furter) don't understand ANY of this. I'm just sayin. hehhehee
My mum always loves it when I bring my muddy paws back....
ReplyDeleteMost of my treasures are left in the car... but if you bring gifts back, just shows how much you luv em ... RIGHT ?
Luvs Freya Rose Blossom X
:-) xxx
Well, I for one think your peeps should appreciate your most thoughtful gifts!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Mean pawrents, why dont they let you keep your nice new toy! Peeps we will never understand
ReplyDeleteurban hounds
Hi Finn,
ReplyDeleteCanyon and Aspen feel your pain. They also do not understand why we won't let them bring their "presents" inside with them. They will work so hard at carrying a stick or log home, only to have it be thrown back into the woods by us.
Us humans are such big meanies :)
Aspen & Canyon's mean Mommy
Awww...Finn...we'd open that door right up so you can bring all your trophies in. That is some good little collection there! You must be so proud! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell, you know, Finn, they should be thinking of what a great woodpile you are making for the cold winter, right?
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Why not??
ReplyDeleteThose are treasures you found while walking!
Hmmm....
Well... at least they are still there!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
At least your offerings are only sticks
ReplyDeleteStop on by for a visit

Brando carries his stuffed animals into the yard then tries to bring them in. Weekly we have to collect them up and wash them. Then the process starts all over again!!
ReplyDeleteHa, that's what we were thinking...good thing it's just sticks!
ReplyDeleteStanzie brings moles to the door...YUCK!
Wyatt
Hey Finn, great job bringing back those sticks. We don't do that. We just break them off mum plants in the garden hehehe. Somehow she doesn't think its as funny as us! No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
ReplyDeleteFinn you are hilarious, your just doing what good dogs do and retrieve right?! Haylie use to love to carry things back but we live in Texas and now it gets so hot she is panting too hard to carry anything lol. I do see you in the window!! hahahah
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous boy woo are! Maybe they just want to use your gifts to decorate the yard. Yeah, that's it.
ReplyDeletejack & moo
Well don't they know you are stocking wood to burn in the fireplace next winter. Do you have a fireplace?
ReplyDeleteSweet William The Scot
lol oz does the same thing! if he does get a stick inside, it's torn up all over the house....during the winter it was almost impossible keeping the kindling for the fireplace away from him lol....dogs are so silly!
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Mommy wouldn't let me bring a stick inside either! But sometimes I manage to drag a few leaves in. Teehee! :)
ReplyDeleteWoofs & hugs, <3
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
Oh, poor Finn!! I would let you bring your sticks inside!! ;op
ReplyDeleteLove, Raelyn.... And Rose, my BEAUTIFULLY UNIQUE "Mystery Dog"!!
LOL - Nice try, Finn. Our neighbor's Golden Retriever tries to bring rocks to her folks after all her outdoor escapades. I think there's something about that "Retriever" part in you guys. :)
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that the Mums don't like that?? I sneak some twigs in from time to time when Daddy takes me out and chew them on the big pawrent bed! Oh yeah baby.
