Greeting Pops

Pops gets a full-on hug when he walks in through the door.

Momma just gets a tail wag greeting.

Something just seems wrong about that.

  1. Finn, that's just plain favoritism! My peeps get the same greetings and inspection (i sniff & inspect whatever stuff they carry home) every time they come back. But I am more distracted if I were alone with Dad only cos' I'll miss Mom but not the other way round hee...

  2. Of course you are just being careful not to knock Mom over Finn. :)

  3. Our peeps also get touchy when they think they are not getting equal love. When will peeps understand, just as one peep feeds, and the other peep takes us on walks, we give one hugs and the other one tail wags? It's not about more love, it's about expressions of love:)

  4. That's about the cutest thing ever! I am a mama's boy myself so I go all kinds of crazy when she comes home.

  5. Tell your mom, it doesn't mean you love him more, really, truth is, it is because Dad lets you get away with a full on hug.....

My Vickie does too, but she draws the line when I try to give a full on hug to others.

something about me being too big for most people.

  6. My dad's beagle gives me a full-on hug too whenever I go to visit him. My chi's just give me lots of yaps and tail wags though when I come home.

Either way, I'm just happy to see them.

Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving, Finn!

  8. Oh I miss those Golden hugs! I get plenty of tail wagging greetings with happy faces when I come home and so does my hubby. I think Tucker gets especially excited when Tim comes in because he knows they might go out and play.

  13. BOL - Dad gets ignored at our house when he comes home, unless he hands out treats. Mom gets an Academy Award winning treatment showcasing just how lonely they were!

  18. Looks like Pops is kind of special to you Finn. Maybe it is because Pops is gone all day and you are just glad to see him Finn. Hope all of you have a super Saturday.

  19. hey Finn,

You seem to have your pops wrapped around your paw! BOL! Good job! Being an Alpha Male, I am not wise to the ways of how females work their magic on males, but you seem to have it down to an art. Keep up the good work and soon your pops will be at your beck and call. So, call for some treats! BOL!

    Great photo!

  20. It's just the opposite at our house. I can be gone all of 10 minutes and I'm greeted as if I were gone a month. Dad gets a cursory little look from Meeka and Sugar. It makes Daddy feel bad. I've had talking tos with the girls, but to no avail, it's all Mom around here.
