More of Seein' the Sites

My final destination on the subway is beneath a building which has a cute plaza.  In the station, they've hung old photographs from when the plaza was being built.

I thought it would be nice one sunny day to eat my lunch in the plaza.
I tried the stairs closest to where I worked.  It was blocked.

Then I tried to lap the building, and hopefully the plaza to get in there.  Nope.  I was stopped by "Security."  I was told I wasn't allowed admittance and I couldn't take a picture.

Since I wanted to desperately to show you some art, I remembered right across from where I work is a little sculpture park.  Smile man in the blue shirt.

I love playing tourist.

We'll have some more sites next month!

  2. Looks a pretty cool place where you work! I find over here no-body blinks twice if you walk about with a camera, usually I am trying desperately to get Barnie to look directly at me for his picture taking - people have even commented that he looks every which way but at me! I am sure we all appreciate your efforts to bring us these - please keep up the good work! Love Barnie's Mummy2Legs x

  11. I always think it's neat when a place has historic pictures of the site on display.

  12. The old photos in the subway are cool, and the building in the last photo is pretty. I love the old buildings! It looks like you work in a very nice area. Too bad about "Security." How upsetting that is what our world has come too.

Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see more cool sites!
