If you're ever in the concrete jungle around lunchtime and you can't find me in my office, I am probably up here. I love this little building on the pier. I normally walk up those stairs on the right, and you can see the water in between, it makes me a little jittery!
View to the left, South Street Seaport. Plenty of tourists and shoppers and kiddies mulling about! |
Dirty old boat! |
Brooklyn Bridge. Say hello Brooklyn! |
View to the right. Nothing really special, except way in the distance in the bridge from Brooklyn to Staten Island. |
I'm not the only one who has found this spot! |

Awesome place for your Mommy to have her lunch! It finally hit my Mom in the head like a brick ~ You're a New Yorker! Mommy was born and raised for 21 years on Long Island. Like Duh Mom! If she would just sometimes pay more attention....

In Sea Cliff on the North Shore. And you??
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to relax and have lunch or a break from work. That dirty old boat looks like a sail boat. Wonder what it looks like with it sails up. So is the river the East River?

Beautiful sights! I got to see some of those sights on my last trip to NYC--the city has so much to see though it's hard to do it all!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Love that last shot - lots of open space which I don't usually associate with NYC.
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
You're so lucky to have a beautiful view while on your lunch break.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to NYC. After this post, I REALLY wanna go now!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you work alllllllll the way down there? How much time does that add to your commute every day? I work right at Penn Plaza, thank goodness!
