Our community was chopping up all the Christmas trees this weekend.
So, a whole community's junk...
became Finn's Saturday morning treasure!
We didn't put a tree up last year for the basic fear that we didn't know how she would react to it. We're really looking forward to trying one out next year. I am sure she will remember the heaven that is this smell!
Lots of great sniffs in there for sure, Finn. We don't get to have a real tree because the smells bother Dad's allergies, but we all love that fresh pine smell.ReplyDelete
Have a great week, Finn.
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
That sure looks like fun Finn. A whole play ground of trees! There would be lots of great smells in there for you!ReplyDelete
Oh Finn - those smells must have been pawsome!ReplyDelete
Hey Finn! This looks like lots of fun. We just took our tree down yesterday.ReplyDelete

I'm sure Finn was wondering why all these trees were not standing up like all the other ones. Happy sniffing!ReplyDelete
What a lot of trees to smell, Finn. We hope you get your own tree this Christmas!ReplyDelete
Finn you have a special treat in store next year.ReplyDelete

Sammie and Avalon
Oooh I bet all them sniff were wooooonderful!ReplyDelete
So sad Christmas is over though :(
My guys LOVE sniffing the trees that are starting to appear on the curbs. Most are all dried out, so I think they are more interested in smelling all the smells from the house it was in. They could probably tell me if the house had a dog and/or a cat, what was cooked for Christmas dinner, etc.....If only they could talk ;-)ReplyDelete
Oh Finn looks to me like you checked out all the pee mail left in those happy Christmas trees!ReplyDelete
She looks like she's really enjoying all those smells! I have a tiny tree my dad bought me the first year I lived on my own. I put it almost every year. I use that one rather than going out to buy a new one because Shiver would be scared of it and Chico would pee on it. bolReplyDelete
That looks like fun!ReplyDelete
HI Finn - thanks for coming over to visit me! You look like you're enjoying a really good sniff! :-)ReplyDelete
And i must say - I love the colour of your coat - such a beautiful red! So unusual...usually all the golden retrievers I see are - well, more "golden" - hee! hee!
Honey the Great Dane
What a discovery! That is quite a pile of trees! And all to yourself!ReplyDelete
the 2 brown dawgs

Teddy Bear & Sierra
Hi Finn, bet you can't wait till next Christmas when you get to have your very own tree to sniff and sniff and sniff. No worries, and love, Stella and RoryReplyDelete

Its All About Bichon
Yup! Dogs need a tree! We think we should have one in the house all year:DReplyDelete
Wyatt and Stanzie
trees are heavenly.ReplyDelete
and it will be here before we know it.
looks like you should go on some more treasure hunts.
Yay, looks like you're getting a tree next Christmas.ReplyDelete
What great pictures of you enjoying the scents of the Christmas trees sweet Finn. Hugs and nose kissesReplyDelete
I think next year you should try the tree for sure. When we got our first tree about 7 years ago Tubby and Norbert and Ping where 3 2 and 1 and they didnt touch the tree. We also had a tree when Bob was a young puppy, no one has ever bothered it, not even the cats! I am very pleasantly surprised by that.ReplyDelete
I love to carry trees on our walk. I love to smell the branches on the side of the road! I love love trees. Mommy said we didn't put up a tree either, cause she was not sure what I would do. And she isn't even sure we will get one next year. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.ReplyDelete
Finn..lots of lovely sniffs and smells! Looks like you had a great time. Just think you will have your own tree next Christmas.ReplyDelete
Big Nose Pokes
I'm sure it smells of bugs and spiders and some body's pee mail. And if you like it, your hooman can plant it in your garden for your pee post!
Looks like a great time. Carla and I recently went to SD, during a windstorm the Gopher and Squirrel watched closely as a discarded tree blew in the yard. When they went out they alternated sniffing and jumping it.ReplyDelete
