Well, well, well, here we are at my 300th post!  I can't believe that I have had 300 different thoughts to share with you, and I also can't believe that you have stayed with me through the 300 posts.  That says alot about all parties involved!

I thought I would have a little giveaway in honor of my 300th post!

Longest Operation Phat Yet!

We took Finn to Brookhaven State Park, where we have had varied success in the past.  

Hubby convinced me that instead of doing the usual BLUE 

1.7 mile trail with Finn, we should up it to the RED 3.7 mile trail.  

Well, it seemed as good of a time as any, so off we went.

Sometimes you gotta just follow the tail!

A deer!  We saw quite a few, here are some tracks.

She did really well!  We knew she was getting a little tired towards the

end, but I am glad we decided to up the walking length!

A New BF?

Well, I need to be truthful.  Finn's bf Cody had been on a long blogging break, and we didn't know when he was coming back.  I thought it was time for Finn to stop moping around the house and get a little boyfriend TLC.  So, I arranged another date with our neighbor Buddy.

I don't know Cody, looks like Finn might need to be wooed by you again!

Heading to Work with Pops

Pops took me into work one day with him!

I got to help tape off the siding, and put down the drop cloths.  It was totally awesome!

I got a little tired so I laid down for a bit.  It's hard work, you know?

But I am still all smiles.

This picture was taken at 10am.  Yep, I put in a solid hour of work.

Ho hum.  I am so pretty.  Why doesn't anyone see that?

I got paint on my tail!  Proof that I worked real hard!!

Now, in case you are wondering why I joined Pops at work...

Momma and Pops got new paving stones installed in the backyard,

and they knew I would want nothing to do with being home that day.

Whadda think?  I think I look beautiful on it!

Pops wants to know why Finn needs to have the ball and the treat on top of his work jeans...

Now, Momma wanted you all to know that for the next few days,

she is at a conference she planned for her work.  So, I will be home with Pops

getting my extra treats for just looking pretty.  And I am doing so much better 

with my ouchie too, so don't you worry about that!

Waiting For Another Dog To Arrive....

An Ouchie

I had an ouchie this weekend.  When Momma and Pops came home form work on Friday, they (Momma) noticed I wasn't putting my full weight on one of my paws!  I was kinda limping around and stuff.  So, they had to take me to the V-E-T!

Here we are.  I look good, right??  There was another doggie there that wasn't put any weight on one of  his paws either.  We found out he tore his ACL when he tried to jump off the bed!  Ouch!

Turns out I have some allergies, and I had been licking and licking and licking a rash in between my paw pads and caused a little irritation.  So all weekend long I had to lay down and RELAX.  It was so darn hard!  

I have some pre-posted posts (you know what I mean) for this week, but know I am laying low, keeping my paws clean and being served like the princess I am!  Have a good week folks!

Grumman Memorial Park

Hewwwow!  Finnackles here.  I wanna show you a little trip my Momma and 

I took one rainy Saturday.  We headed out for a little ride to the Grumman Memorial Park.  

Do you know about Grumman?  If you are an American and are proud of our WWII 

vets and the advancements we made during the Space Race, you should.  Even though 

wiki is what wiki is, click here for a little history about Grumman.

Here we are!  Momma said it's important to learn about history stuffs, 

so off we went to read about some of the stuffs they had out.
