Bald Hill

Well, the vet told us that Finnie was fat, and not the kind with a "ph", although I certainly think she's phat, but I digress.  So, we must get more exercise!  Off to a new place we go!

I drove past Bald Hill one day and wondered exactly what is was.
After a little googling, I discovered it is one of the tallest points in our area.
A Memorial was built here in 1991 as well.

Pretty! Well, essentially, the park is a large hill, go figure.  And the memorial is on top.

But another new place to sniff and poke around!

If that's not a "Thanks-Momma-for-taking-me-here" face, then I don't know what is!

Anyway, so hopefully we'll be getting in plenty of new
walks soon as we begin Operation Phat!

  4. Bugsy is joining you for operation phat... the vet told him to lose weight too. Unfortunately, he doesn't go outside, so he has to do it the old fashioned way.... cutting back the kibble a weeeee bit. Hope he doesn't notice.

    Have a great day.

  14. Did you remind the vet that Goldens have lots of fur, Finnie. WE are sure it's just fluff. But always good to get a nice walk.

  17. I'm a fanatic (or is that phanatic?) about fat (phat!) and monitor my dogs like a hawk! They still get plenty of treats, but if I notice any pudge starting, they miss a meal or too.

Now.....If only someone would monitor my food that closely ;-)

  18. Finn, you aren't fat, but if it means extra walkies then I'd just go with it.

  28. How dare your vet calls you fat. If that's the case then we're all fat and overweight.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Finn, we think you are perfect just as you are. Fat indeed! Bet you only weigh a measley 30 kgs or so. Sheesh. Our old angel sissy Kara was told she was fat but we told her it was only her fluffy hair. Mum didn't want her to worry. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
